Disasters and Ecosystems: Resilience in a Changing Climate - Expert Track

Announcing: Disasters and Ecosystems: Resilience in a Changing Climate - The Expert Track is back!
Live on 15 January through 28 February, 2018.  Enrollment closes 4 February.

This course is for professionals and students who seek more in-depth learning and skills development in applying ecosystem-based tools for disaster risk reduction (Eco-DRR) and adaptation (EbA). The Expert Track consists of 15 units of 60 minutes each with video- presentations and accompanying self-study booklets, quizzes and a peer reviewed final assessment.

The course runs over six weeks, with four-five hours per week and is free of charge. There are no pre-requisites for joining this course, however you will be able to follow along more easily if you have already taken the “Leadership track.  The Expert track is thus instructor-paced, with greater instructor presence and feedback, while the Leadership-track is student-paced and open until March, 2018.  This is the second run of our popular course from 2015. It has kept the same contents but has some fresh interviews with world leaders, experts and practitioners of Eco-DRR / EbA. Please help us to spread the word!
