Global State of Young Scientists (GloSYS) Africa Survey

The Global Young Academy (GYA), an international society of young scientists, in collaboration with research partners in four African regions is conducting a study of young scientists across the african continent. The study is aimed at investigating the challenges and motivations that shape the career trajectories of early-career researchers in Africa and the African diaspora. The data gathered from this study will be used to develop policy recommendations aimed at improving the working conditions and support systems for young African researchers and scientists

The research involves a questionnaire, which should take about 20 - 30 minutes to complete. The survey will involve questions about ones career trajectory, work environment, and some personal information (educational background, demographic information, etc.).
